Hello! I'm Emma Berry (she/her), a passionate and multifaceted theatrical artist working in lighting design, as well as dabbling in scenic design and directing. I split my time between Miami, FL and Chicago, IL, and I’m currently finishing up my BA in Theatre Design and Technology at Columbia College Chicago.

My journey in theatre began with a fascination for the way stories come alive on stage and how every detail contributes to a world the audience can step into. Over the years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work on productions at venues like the Miami Acting Company, Westchester Cultural Arts Center, and ART ON Theatre Collaboration. A driving force behind much of my work is a desire to showcase female-driven narratives that challenge, inspire, and reflect the complexities of identity and experience.

Outside of production work, I’m deeply passionate about arts education and mentorship. I’ve helped develop technical theatre programs in many schools and have taught at over ten schools introducing students, especially young women, to the endless possibilities of theatrical storytelling.
